Congratulations! You are preparing for the most important day of both your lives. From recent personal experience, I know how stressful wedding planning can become, but the day will be a magical highpoint of your lives together. (It was for me!) The First Dance is your first act as husband and wife; its a time to celebrate. You want to be stress-free and comfortable together, all elegance and grace. And it's going to be immortalized on video, isn't it? The difference between your knowing how to dance and not knowing is going to be obvious. But learning how to dance together is surprisingly easy if you take the little extra time necessary to learn how to move together, as one. Partner dancing is not difficult; but remember most things are simple... once you know how. You can try an inexpensive trial dance class or a full lesson. Based on your goals and objectives for the Dance, I will have you comfortable on your feet, dancing at least some simple steps like a pro. It doesn't matter how simple the steps are - if you look relaxed and confident, you'll get an ovation. ( And taking dance lessons can be very romantic.) The Bridal Party: We often have the bride and groom come in with the bridal party (with or without the parents) for a few workshops before the wedding. It can be a nice gift for the members of your party, or your wedding party can chip in and get you some private lessons while they are learning a few steps themselves.
